I have never experianced this so I don’t know the prosedier, but what is the priest suppost to do if he ever accidentaly drops a host?

If it is an accident, it cannot be desecration. That requires willful intent.
If a host is dropped, the priest/deacon/EMHC picks it up and and either consumes it or discreetly holds on to it until it can be either be consumed or disposed of properly in the sacrarium.

Also…Wherever the Host is dropped should be cleaned. In the case of tile (as it should be) a towel can be used to ensure that any little “Jesus Flakes” don’t remain on the ground. It becomes little more complicated with carpeting but somehow the priest,etc. must ensure that all of Jesus is taken out of the carpet.
If any of the Blood of Christ is spilt it obviously has to be cleaned up as well. Again, tile can be cleaned with a towel that is then bleached. For carpeting, however, the carpet square is to be removed and burned.
People do sometimes intentionally throw the Eucharist on the ground, but the time I saw it happen the priest went over, picked the Host up off the ground, and consumed the host. He then wiped his fingers on the spot and consumed as much as he could. It was treated like when it was accidentally dropped, but I am sure the priest said some sort of prayer in the area for the crime committed.
