Desert nuns newsletter

I like reading and donating too the “desert nuns” who branched off from EWTN and their monastary. There are only 5 right now (1 novice left) but they have a great web page and their Christmas newsletter this month is full of things about families and tributes to theirs, etc.
It makes a vocation that sometimes seem distant and secluded, much more real. I thought someone else might enjoy reading about them. The newsletter is on a link on the main page.

You’re welcome, they are a nice bunch and honest about the trials and joys of being together. I was uplifted to read in their newsletter that they have a wonderful family that is helping them initially with their monastary building. They feel blessed to be a part of it and the graces have been numerous. I need to read things like that when bombarded with opposite news sometimes.

Haven’t got round to reading the newsletter just yet…but did like very much the great pics on site…Barb:)
