Kayla a young woman in her 20’s is dying of brain cancer. My daughter has gotten to know her after moving there late November. They both have preschool
Children. This young woman is a single mother who doesn’t seem to have a faith background but after developing this relationship with my daughter is open to faith and prayer. My daughter ( not yet Catholic, but desiring and looking into it😊) asked her if she would be willing to meet with a priest. Since she said yes my daughter went to the priest in the Parish she was considering/ he refused to see her if she wanted baptism so I told her to find another priest and if he refused to ask a Protestant pastor to baptize her and if that didn’t work-'baptize her yourself as time and desire might demand it.Fortunately the second priest agreed. She called her back and Kayla desires baptism for both herself and her daughter. She doesn’t have time to learn everything about Jesus- she just knows He loves her and died to save her from her sin. So simple and basic. Please pray that this all works out and for the soul of such a young mother and her child. Unless a miracle she is close to passing.
InHis forever Love,
Mary

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.

**Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Why does it seem the churches have lost sight of the importance of baptism and I’m speaking of all churches. Did Jesus make the only requirement that it be done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Please, let’s get back to baptism, because Jesus told us to… how important it is to our salvation…

I was going to suggest that she do it herself. My two grandsons have fathers who are not Catholic and do not share Catholic belief in baptizing babies. So, just in case of emergency… I did a baptism until we could get them baptized in the Church which they both were, thank the Lord. I hope I didn’t do something wrong…

Praying for your girls!
Our Father
Hail Mary
Glory Be

I pray that the baptism will wash away
all sin from this woman’s and her daughter’s
life and bring healing to their souls AND bodies!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your Name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Kayla. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kayla’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Kayla, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Prayer to Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe

St. Maximilian, amidst the hate and lonely misery of Auschwitz, you brought love into the lives of fellow captives and sowed the seeds of hope amidst despair. You bore witness to the world by word and deed that “Love alone creates.” Help me to become more like you. With the Church and Mary and you, may I proclaim that “Love alone creates.” To the hungry and oppressed, the naked and homeless, the scorned and hated, the lonely and despairing, may I proclaim the power of Christ’s love, which endures forever and ever. Amen.
