Desperate prayer request

My 17-year-old son is in need of prayers. He has always been a good boy, and very active in our church youth ministry. He’s in danger of going off on a really wrong path. I know that he is responsible for his actions, but he is being influenced by a girl who is encouraging him to throw away everything he stands for. At his age, it’s impossible to cut him off from her; they go to school together, he drives, etc. (although at the moment he’s grounded from his car, but that’s no long-term solution.) His dad has tried sitting down with the both of them and talking about their choices but they just laugh. I’ve never seen him like this. Please, please pray for him. Thank you so much.

May God grant him repentance, obedience, and the Spirit
of TRUE Godly wisdom.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen!
 
My prayers are with you! I hope and pray you are able to talk to him and get at some sort of understanding with him.

Once upon a time I was as he is now. I pray for him to return to you in obedience and love. I pray to St Monica for you as a mother with a wayward son.

Jesus, please help your son follow your example of love for his Mother.
 
I pray for you and your son. It happened to me at that age, and it hurt my mother. I:gopray:
 
Praying for your son so that he finds the right path in faith.

Don’t go it alone. Perhaps the youth ministry leader or other friends can assist with talking to him. The pastor or other adult who he feels comfortable talking with. My 19 year old has had similar conversations with Dads of some of his good friends and it has helped.

I will pray also. My son is soon approaching that age and I shudder.

May he listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
