Devastating tornado hits boy scout camp this evening

Please pray for the victims of some tornados that have hit our area this evening. The details are very sketchy right now, but apparently a tornado has hit a boy scout camp, and they are reporting four fatalities and 30-40 injuries.
 
My husband is with the tri-state mobile command unit. He just left to help. Please keep all the parents and children in your prayers.
 
I will pray the Holy Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for them all now.

I just put the weather channel on and saw this. Was getting ready to post a prayer request. Dear God, help them all, and have mercy on those who have died. :byzsoc:
 
I am praying for them and I will especially remember them when I pray the rosary tonight.

Praying for those frightened parents, the boys, leaders, and emergency crews. Jesus, I trust in you! :crossrc:
 
Nature can do some truly frightening things, and the tornado that hit the Boy Scout camp is no exception. We must remember to exercise proper safety plans in the event of this sort of weather, but we also have God as our Protector, if only we cast ourselves upon Him. Despite what happened tonight, destructive weather, and not even death, can separate us from the love and care of God.
Eternal Father, I ask you tonight to comfort and save all who experienced this disastrous tornado tonight at the Boy Scout camp. Let Your healing grace flow through the first responders who are tending to the injured and frightened.

May the souls of those who perished at the power of the tornado not be lost to destruction, but we humbly ask, Almighty God, that you will grant them peaceful rest in Your arms. Lord Jesus, we pray that You will show mercy and save the ones who were casualties of this force of nature. Holy Spirit, console their relatives and loved ones with Your presence in their hearts.

I pray all these things in the name of Jesus through the intercession of the Virgin Mary. Amen.
 
Will be praying for dkoinzan’s husband, the recovery workers, family, the boys, the area, for ones to turn to the Lord and not become bitter… :gopray2:

I saw this on the news this morning. Horrible to say the least.
I am praying for the victims, their families, and the aid workers going out to assist.

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

As a mom of two Eagle Scouts, wow, yet I know God will draw good from this tragedy of life.
