Devine Mercy meditation?

When you pray the Chaplet of Devine Mercy, do you meditate on the Passion? The Stations of the Cross? Anything at all?

I personally don’t meditate for that one. I just think about the sinners or the specific person(s) I am praying the chaplet for.
I say a lot of rosaries and they generally involve significant meditation on the Mysteries. I also say the St. Bridget 12 year Prayers daily where I meditate on seven blood-sheddings in the life of Christ. It’s good to have a different chaplet where I can just pray without having to meditate on anything. It’s a different form of prayer.

I’m an Eastern Christian, we do not meditate while praying.

We just pray and pray the words from the heart.

The Crucifixion I suppose, recently I’ve been stating a specific group of people to pray for when I say the “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion…” mentally, like different belief groups or sinners.

I’ve been stating a specific group of people to pray for when I say the “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion…” mentally, like different belief groups or sinners.

Yeah, I either state the group at the beginning of the five decades, or I say it at the end of every prayer, like “For the sake of His sorrowful passion, Have mercy on Joe Jones and on the whole world” or “Have mercy on death row prisoners and on the whole world” etc.

I mentally state it before saying the prayer, though. And not every prayer either I do believe, am I specific.
