I think they’d know exactly what went wrong.

Our culture has very nearly made an idolatry of recording and publishing every minor divergence of perspective of opinion. The issue would not be a lack of information, as in earlier cycles, but a plethora of such, and a difficulty of interpretation.

I think they’d also know where Washington was, even if the site were to some, confused with the state of the same name across the continent.

But maybe scholars should invest in a few stone-carved copies of the Constitution, maybe one in each state. A future age may be helped to rebuild by them.
