Devotions To Mary

I remember reading in the book ‘Journal of a Soul’ which is the autobiography of Pope John XXIII, that when he was training for the priesthood one of the little rules for the formation of an aesthetic life was "Never leave the Church without a visit to the altar of Our Lady.

I do this each and every day no matter what church I am in and there I make petition for my family, friends and myself. I would recommend it to everyone.

In fact it stirs up devotion in the souls of those who see our devotion to our Mother and they begin to do the same.

I would commend this devotion to you. Of course the most perfect Marian devotion is the Holy Mass. 👍

One is to Our Lady of Perpetual Aide - I pray this at least once a month and believe me, it works like magic every time.

the 2nd novena is to Our Lady of Lourdes.

then i also pray the Litany - but I think you have that now

The pastor at my Church and I are working on having an adoration chapel built at my church. All we need now is to go and get funds from people.
 
I don’t think anyone’s mentioned either wearing Our Lady’s Brown Scapular or her Miraculous Medal. I wear the medal.

I wear the scapular.

I am putting together a DVD with all the mysteries of the rosary and alot of pics of the Virgin Mary. 👍
