I’ve never said anything as I don’t really have any other experience to compare it to…but I’ve often suspected.

I suspect the exclusivity of the relationship and the full acceptance of the other (by not contracepting) are significant factors.

The only thing surprising about this is that it was printed in an secular magazine.

Sonce only Catholics have a tradition and teaching of a true sexuality ( no modern day libertine or premodern puritanical ideas), it is the obvious result.

Such an article 50-100 years ago would have surprised no one. Some of us remember the days when jokes about large catholic families had nothing to do with contraception and typically implied married Catholics could not control themselves.

I wouldn’t put any credence in research purported by a known hate group that doesn’t think Catholics are even Christians.

When it involves how awesome our married sex lives are I would!

Did I just miss it? Where in the article does it explain why Catholics have better sex, rather than just faithful, married, church-attending Christians?

It was state in the title of the article. I’m not sure how they got to that conclusion though. The information presented didn’t seem to specify Catholics over other Christians.

Even Monty Python knew this (and them no fans of Catholicism)!

Even the burden of abstinence when practicing NFP has it’s upside: once a month honeymoon! 😉
