At least 3 million Americans still connect to the internet using dial up technology. You know, the old 56k landline modem and AOL browser…
The majority of these are people in rural areas where broadband isn’t available.
Do any CAF users still connect via dialup? I personally use my high speed connected 4g LTE smartphone most of the time, or occasionally my DSL broadband connected laptop… I haven’t used dial up since like 1999.
