DId anyone ask Jesus for forgiveness in the gospels?

I recently saw a multiple choice quiz for kids and one of the questions asked how many people asked Jesus for forgiveness in the gospels? I believe it was meant to be a trick question as the answer is apparently “none”. I’m assuming this is some kind of technicality – people asked for help or mercy or whatever, but never specifically asked Jesus to forgive them. I spent some time trying to find something to back up the answer, but I couldn’t find anything. So, if anyone knows the answer and where I can see some evidence of it I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

I think “none” would be wrong since St. Dismas did indeed seek forgiveness as he hung on the cross beside the Lord.
