When I was younger, I believed the rain was God’s tears I also believed Mary lived inside the moon and Jesus lived inside the sun (I don’t know why I ever thought this) I just imagined the sun as a big window and Jesus use to watch the world from it and the same for the moon, I also believed that thunder and lightning was God’s anger, to this day I’m still terrified of thunder and I silently pray “please don’t let this be the end of the world” did anyone else have any weird crazy theory’s about god when they where younger?

My mother used to say that thunderstorms were the angels bowling.
When there was a great big thunderclap, it meant an angel got a strike.
Mom was afraid of bad thunderstorms, so I think this was one of her ways of trying to not be scared of them.

I just googled online for a picture of Angels Bowling and found that this concept apparently made it onto The Simpsons. I wish Mom had gotten to see this before she died, I LOL’ed

Only on Good Friday. I feel it is frequently gloomy weather on Good Friday.

Rosie when my son was a toddler and just discovering the world, we had a huge harvest moon one night. He looked at it and ran to me saying the moon has its lights on!

I see the moon and the moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me.
