Did God simulate us?

It seems creation equals simulation too, they are the same thing.

We tend to use the models that we have. We cling to them even when they are clearly inadequate.

Man with hammer thinks nails and screws are the same thing.

We understand simulation. We can simulate simple physical systems (though only to an approximation).

We don’t understand creation ex nihilo, nor how creation is sustained in existence, and we certainly can’t do it.

So we could try to model creation as simulation, but don’t think they are the same.
