Hi. I was just recently on a chat with some friends, both of whom are protestant. One of them asked me what my religion was, and I told them that we probably shouldn’t talk about religion over the internet. I guess I was afraid they would make fun of me or we would get into a big argument if I told them I was catholic. Now I feel bad because I’ve just recently been confirmed and how, as a full member of the church I’m supposed to profess the faith, evangelize, etc. Should I have talked about religion over the internet to my friends in spite of my doubts? and is it a sin not to? These answers would really help as I feel very guilt-ridden and worried

Hi,

It’s not a sin to be frightened. But next time, speak up.
