Did I do the unpardonable sin?

So, long story short I have OCD and am a cynical pessimist, and I was confused greatly after debating Evangelicals to the point where I believed Jesus got His powers from the devil. I seem to actually believe this, I don’t know why. I’d soon think things like I’m deliberately going to think that the evil one is the source of your powers now, in a way to insult, but I’m quick to draw back. I’m very worried about this and cannot shake this evil bug out of my head? Am I going to Hell? Did I miss out on my chance at Paradise? I’m on the verge of tears as I look at pictures and think I could not have it… I just want Jesus to hold me in His arms and tell me it’s okay…
just tell me the honest truth: did I or did I not do it? I’m just so wigged out, I’ve been asking this for a month straight on Yahoo Answers! Please?

You got a nasty idea in your head. You now regret it. You have repented of it.

Talk to a priest if you want to put your mind at rest further, but from what you’ve said, I’m positive you’re still in with as much of a chance of Heaven as the rest of us.

Basically the Unforgivable Sin is one that cannot be excused by Invincible Ignorance because you can’t be ignorant in order to commit it and, importantly, remain committed to it such that when you die, still in the state of that sin, you’re cut off from God. Because it is a sin within yourself, you therefore have it within you to cease committing it and to reconcile yourself with God. Do that, and everything will be ok again.

Have yourself a big internet hug, accept the love of Christ, go to a priest for absolution and take that peace the Jesus offers you… His peace, a peace the world cannot give.
