Did I fail in my Mass attendance obligation?

Due to my human error (I was wrong about the time) I missed the English Sunday morning Mass at my parish…I still wanted to fulfill my Mass attendance obligation, so I attended a Sunday afternoon Mass for the Croatian community.

In the circumstances, was my conduct sinful?
 
Well you did fulfill your Sunday obligation since you attended a Catholic Mass on a Sunday. However, in the event there were no other possible Masses to attend there still would not be a sin. Sin results from either our deliberate choice to either do or not do something. You simply mixed up the time of the Mass, a mistake is not a sin.
