Did Jesus downplay Mary?

In the gospel of Luke 1:42 Elizabeth exclaims blessed are you amongst women and blessed is the fruit of your womb but in the same gospel chapter 11 :27-28 a woman in the crowd called to Jesus and said blessed is the womb that bore you and the breast that you sucked. He then answers blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and kept it. What does he mean by this statement in the latter.

In Lk 1:48 Mary says that all generations shall call me blessed but 10 chapters later in Lk 11:27,28 Jesus says to this woman who exclaim blessed is the womb that bore you to rather hear the word of God and keep it.

What does Jesus mean? It is a little bothersome when you being ask by non catholics.
