Did King Solomon ever repent?

There’s no explicit place in the Bible where King Solomon is said to have repented of his idolatry or not. I mean, maybe it can be assumed based on the fact that we have some of his writings that he did (if the traditional view about the authorship of Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Wisdom, and some of Psalms attributed to him is correct), but couldn’t they have just been written before he fell into idolatry even if he did write them? What do you think is the status of his soul? I know the Church can’t judge these kinds of things, but I’d just like to see others opinions.
 
Time is no barrier to God, so let’s pray right now for an explosion of God’s grace in King Solomon’s soul in his last moment of life.
