In order to draw my own conclusions, I need secular information showing Moses and eExactly. Lots of people claim different things. Archeology is about making guesses based on what you happen to find. Most of the time they set out to prove something and so they already have a bias and discard much information in order to prove their agenda. It’s also not unheard of to manufacture evidence either. That’s why things must be taken with a grain of salt and with a thinking and rational mind in order to draw your own conclusions
Moses existed and exists.
There is no real valid question about it.
You can contact Catholic Answers apologists for such - I do not have such for it is not a matter of concern - there is no question that he existed and exists.
What is important is not what some popular periodical says but what the Sacred Scriptures and the Church says. Popular magazines are written often to sell stories and if something is attention grabbing popular magazines will publish them. Such theories are simply non-reality based. And so often secular sources get so much wrong in the area of the Church - if news persons writing religion stories would write sports stories they would be fired long ago for lack of good research etc.
If some particular archeologist says otherwise - they are simply wrong. Odd theories or claims get thought up all the time. Such is all they are.
Though I can understand your wish to have the other sources for apologetical reasons if you run across someone who as read that popular magazine -the staff there can some sources for you- give them a call.

No we are not - it is simply nonsense. Now we’re back to the beginning. Can someone show me some secular sources that say Moses existed and there was an Exodus?
One thing that we do know is that even if Moses really existed, the story about him in Exodus has been heavily embellished. It’s not possible for more than 2 million Jews (600,000 men and their families) to have lived in Sinai for 40 years and have left no trace for archaeologists to find.No we are not - it is simply nonsense.
Our knowledge of the existence of Moses is not based on the ideas of this or that archeologist. Or any archeologist.
One simply dismisses such ideas as nonsense -it is not worth ones time and energy.
Like someone asserting that your Mom did not exist - no reason to give them the time of day.
One keeps walking.
Here is some important aspects of how Catholics approach Sacred Scripture:One thing that we do know is that even if Moses really existed, the story about him in Exodus has been heavily embellished. It’s not possible for more than 2 million Jews (600,000 men and their families) to have lived in Sinai for 40 years and have left no trace for archaeologists to find.
No. It is an uninspired opinion that says that the story of the Exodus is heavily embellished which amounts to disbelief in the word of God. Your equating disbelief and opinion with truth and fact and 100% certainty. If the inspiried sacred author embellished the Exodus story, then it would appear that he is not telling the truth and is in error which amounts to God, the principle author of Holy Scripture, to be not telling the truth and is in error. This is inadmissible. I would believe the inspired sacred author over any uninspired opinion. Also, I recommend to anybody reading the bible which is the word of God, that where ever we find something we may deem ‘fantastic’ or unbelievable according to our limited and finite intellect such as may appear in the story of the Exodus or like the prophet Jonah in the belly of the whale, the more we ought to believe it.One thing that we do know is that even if Moses really existed, the story about him in Exodus has been heavily embellished. It’s not possible for more than 2 million Jews (600,000 men and their families) to have lived in Sinai for 40 years and have left no trace for archaeologists to find.
Are you trying to suggest that when Jesus talked about Moses he was simply making up stories?According to this, archeologists say Moses never existed. True or false?

No, I just want some secular links that support the Bible. Are you trying to suggest that when Jesus talked about Moses he was simply making up stories?
John 5:
43 I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me; yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him.
44 How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father: the one who will accuse you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.
46 For if you had believed Moses, you would have believed me, because he wrote about me.
47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?"
I can’t believe you expect to find any.No, I just want some secular links that support the Bible.![]()
