It was a Catholic council that determined which of the hundreds of gospels and epistles that had been circulating were, indeed, inspired Scripture. Are you saying that there are NT books that are missing, or that there are books in the NT that shouldn’t be there? If you were answering some other question, please clarify.

Even though the Holy Spirit came into the disciples don’t mean that man later down the line didn’t make mistakes.

I’m again not sure what you mean. I fully believe that He gave the Apostles the Holy Spirit, Who revealed to them ALL Truth. I fully believe that the same Holy Spirit that taught the Apostles and brought all the things Jesus taught them to their remembrance, is powerful enough to continue to do that through the ages. I fully believe that the Catholic Church has preserved the Truth since Pentecost and will continue to teach and proclaim the Truths that were revealed by God until Jesus comes again in glory. Among these Truths is that Jesus is Mary’s only biological son, to get this back on topic.
