Yes. The Pyramids are not the only mystery we grapple with.

What about those weird shapes that extend for miles (I think in Peru, or anyway So. America) and can be seen only from the air. What instruments did all these people have…

Read Chariots of the Gods as a teenager. The writer has an answer but I think it’s not biblical !

(your sig line is oh so true)

Chariots of the Gods was a great book, although I dont agree with everything he says, personally I believe what those ancient people called ‘gods’ were actually demons masquerading as something else, just a tool to draw people away from the real God.

Those large shapes that can only be seen from the air, were their attempt to either communicate or worship the ‘gods’ who came from the sky (skypeople). If you read into various ancient civilizations like this, most had accounts of ‘gods’ that came from the sky and helped them.

A much better book is ‘The Blue Planet’ by Jefferson Souza, Im trying to get my hands on it, but its tough to find.

I don’t know if I’d read The Blue Planet anymore at this point in my life. There are so many mysteries - I can’t handle all of them anymore!

It was interesting how each civilization carved those figures with “helmets” covering their heads. Your explanation is interesting. Also, why couldn’t it have been the real God just trying to help us along?

We better stop here. I’ve already been told I’m not really Catholic!

Nice to ponder…
