Did Satan enter Judas before or during the Last Supper?

Poor Judas, it was not his fault. Didn’t Jesus say that one of his disciples was going to betray him? Jesus came as a sacrifice. A sacrifice needs to die otherwise he isn’t one. So Judas only followed his calling on earth to be the one to betray Jesus. It was all part of the greater plan.
God used our free will in His plan of salvation.

Judas had a choice, at every point in his journey, to choose good or evil.

As do we all.

…and, in further answer, to the post the above posts answered:

God does not cause death and neither does He plan it - this would be suicide if so and murder all in one. The Father knew that for His son to come here would be certain death because the world is imperfect due to original sin and to live as the perfect Truth would be to have dangerous enemies who would use their freewill for evil out of fear. It is said that Christ, before He was Jesus Christ the son born on earth - as we know who was with the Father ‘from the Beginning’ - agreed to coming to earth and knew and agreed to what would happen in order that the world would come to know His Father, out of love for His Father. I think St. Augustine had reasoned this conversation and it is worth reading. This is one of the reasons people benefit from the R.C Church - there is a wealth of saints to draw from who were enlightened with divine inspirations (before anyone starts screaming “Sola Scriptura” unnecessarily.)
