Did the U.S Bishops support the New Deal?

I’m tried to do some quick research into this, but I was not able to come up with much. I would like to know whether the U.S Bishops publicly or informally voiced support for Roosevelt’s “New Deal” and programs such as social security when they were first implemented.
 
I’ve found a link on social security on the USCCB website and how they have always supported it, but since my computer isn’t working correctly right now, I can’t post it. :o
