I watched it last night, and it really made me feel quite sad again at his death. It was a very good documentary It is on CNN again tonight. This is the anniversary of his death I will say a prayer for all the people of the world that he loved so much. It is on CNN tomorrow night too.Hope you all watch it! Also, on Larry King tonight, John Paul II remembered.

Interestingly, what I watched of it made me see the truth in what has been said on CAF about the shallowness of the secular media. I really felt that the reporters just didn’t understand, as opposed to having to remain objective. Now, the documentary moved me, don’t get me wrong, but it was jarring to hear the reporters’ commentary.

Yes, I watched it. I was crying by the time they were talking about his death. And then by the time they were talking about Pope Benedict I had a huge smile on my face. I recommend watching it if you can.

I’m glad CNN had the documentary, sounds like something I would watch. However, I tuned into Fox during the actual events, I found their analysis better, and the guests seemed to have a better understanding of the Church. Hopefully they’ll also have a retrospective? :twocents:

Hubby and I watched. It was excellent, however, the commercials that “paid” for the production were very inappropriate. My hubby and I were very upset and felt that CNN needs to be more careful in selling commercial spots next to a very moving and spiritual story.

Love and peace
