Unfortunately, no. Sick in bed. Fever down to 102. Do I like it? No.

It’s times like these where the saying "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak " comes to mind.

Merry Christmas.
Stephie

I’m in the same “boat”. My wife and I have been ill with fever, cough, congestion, etc. for the last couple of days.

Humanly, I’m feeling sad that I am unable to attend but I know in my heart/soul that Our Lord is an Understanding Lord!

Aloha from Hawaii,

Normand

I didn’t. Still under the weather. Didn’t want to infect others. I feel bad. I normally, when feeling well, go to daily mass

Sadly, no. Mama was sick last night and today. If she’s not better in a couple of days, I’m taking her to the dr. Hope it’s not the flu which is running rampant here.

I prayed for you recovery just now. That has happened to me a few times and it is disappointing. I was able to find and watch an online streaming celebration.

I attended Sunday Mass at 11am, went home rested a bit then returned to Church for the Family Christmas Mass at 5pm. Missed the last bus and walked home.

Played for the morning Masses, then had our annual Concert prior to Midnight Mass, and the played Mass. Lots of notes! LOL
I had other musicians and cantor lined up for the two Masses this morning in Spanish and English
Good times!

No, unfortunately in my area the roads were covered in ice so I was not able to go to Mass on Christmas Day or to my friend’s house for Christmas brunch, even though the time was moved to 1 pm.

Praying for those who are ill and/or caring for ill loved ones.

To answer the title question, yes.

They can be, these are like Eastern Orthodox that accept the authority of the Pope.
