Hi all,

I am stuck at home for at least another month so I thought I would build myself a little chart/checklist that I can use during and after quarantine to help with my spiritual life. I was intending to create a list in descending order of powerful spiritual prayers and activities that I can use everyday. For example the top of my list would look something like this:
  1. Mass/Receiving the Eucharist
  2. Adoration
  3. Liturgy of the Hours
  4. Reading Scripture
  5. The Rosary
Clearly I won’t be able to do these everyday but in times like these or when I am feeling really inspired it would be nice to have a list of prayers/activities to help boost spiritual life. Maybe further down the list would be fasting a meal, singing/listening to hymns/psalms, self-flagellation, reading Catholic books or writings from the saints, etc. I am not familiar with all of the prayers and practices of our faith (it is very extensive and rich) and I would like to start building this list so that I can find more ways to incorporate the faith into my life. God Bless!

“when I am feeling really inspired”
Greetings in Our Lord Jesus Christ!

That phrase jumped out at me in order to mention that even when we do not feel “inspired” we need to pray. I am referring to good feelings that make it easy to pray.
Such feelings are not always available.

May the Lord bless you on your journey with Him!
