Different Relics

I have two relics.

One is St. Francis Xavier, and it has a white center.
The other is St. Teresa of Avila, and it has a blue or dark center.

First class relics are a part of the body of a saint.

Could be the color difference is just the different colors of various parts of the body.
Skin would appear yellow, white or some other skin tone.
Organs could appear a variety of colors.
Blood could be red or dark brown.
Bone could be white.
Ashes (many saints were burned) would be black.
etc.

Speaking of...

Once Blessed Acutis is declared a Saint, his Nintendo game controller would be a second class relic.

I look forward to seeing this.

I can see where the white one could be a bone fragment.
Not sure about the blue or darker one?

I looked at them with a Jewlers microscope and the one that appeared "blue" seemed to be more dark brown or black instead of blue.
