I’ve been discerning a vocation to the religious life on and off for many years. I’m leaning more towards contemplative orders. The problem I’m running into, though, is that it seems like many of the cloistered communities that look interesting to me are out of state! I live in Minnesota, and many of the communities I find when searching are in Ohio, Illinois, or the northeastern coast. Is anyone else finding this? Any tips? Thanks!
