There are people in my parish who strongly believe that we shouldn’t talk about religion as it is personal matter between a person and God. Thus, we shouldn’t evangelize or even discuss about religion. What do you think?

Sorry for bad english/wording, I’m having difficulties expressing what’s on my mind.

From the mouth of Jesus we are told to go out and teach and proclaim the gospel!

Matthew 28:19-20
19 Go, therefore,[a] and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.** And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

Mark 16:15
15 He said to them, “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature.**

I’m glad Jesus and the Apostles didn’t share that attitude!

May I suggest reading 1st Cor chapter 12:)

It’s all about differing BUT united miniseries that aikmed and given to BUILD up the RCC:thumbsup:

The RCC has always taught that evangelistion is the task of EVERY member; although not all have the same precise task assigned to them:)

The “Only bible many will read” is how WE live our Catholic Faith publicly.

Everyone can practice their faith as evidence of our beliefs

Everyone can Pray much

Everyone can practice charity

All those qualified can share our Faith

Everyone ought to be able and willing to defend our faith and beliefs and practices when called upon to do so

God Bless you

Patrick
