Yet again I am facing a very difficult academic assignment, and am feeling mentally blocked with it. Then there is an exam in June. I do so want to decently pass this course, so that I can eventually achieve my degree and put it to good use, hopefully teaching adults with literacy problems or learning disabilities.

I would so much appreciate it if anyone could spare a prayer that I get over this mental block and complete this assignment satisfactorily, and later pass the exam. Many thanks!

Lifting you up in prayers.

It would be good not to think or worry about the exam in June.

Matthew 6:34: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Your concern about the exam is blocking you and your desire to achieve your degree. Don’t put that stress on yourself. Don’t concern yourself with the degree and the exam - this is blocking you and creates anxiety and distraction. Yes, you want to earn your degree ultimately and yes, you will have to pass that final exam - that’s just in the course of things.

Right now, just focus on the assignment and enjoy the rest of your day. Balance your day, eat properly, get good night sleep, go for a daily walk and refresh yourself. Just focus on your assignment and forget the rest.

Praying helps, and it gives you internal peace. Do your best and leave it the results in God’s hands.

Saint Pope John Paul had problems with a course and he once once feeling overwhelmed. His Dad gave him a card with this prayer and Saint Pope John Paul prayed that prayer every day for the rest of his life.

Come, Holy Spirit, Creator blest,
and in our souls take up Thy rest;
come with Thy grace and heavenly aid
to fill the hearts which Thou hast made.
O comforter, to Thee we cry,
O heavenly gift of God Most High,
O fount of life and fire of love,
and sweet anointing from above.

Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts are known;
Thou, finger of God’s hand we own;
Thou, promise of the Father, Thou
Who dost the tongue with power imbue.

Kindle our sense from above,
and make our hearts o’erflow with love;
with patience firm and virtue high
the weakness of our flesh supply.

Far from us drive the foe we dread,
and grant us Thy peace instead;
so shall we not, with Thee for guide,
turn from the path of life aside.

Oh, may Thy grace on us bestow
the Father and the Son to know;
and Thee, through endless times confessed,
of both the eternal Spirit blest.

Now to the Father and the Son,
Who rose from death, be glory given,
with Thou, O Holy Comforter,
henceforth by all in earth and heaven. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Thank you so much, Abba, for your prayers and for your very wise words.

My assignment is my most immediate concern at the moment, but yes…best to deal with that first and not think of the exam or degree.

Thanks also for the lovely prayer that was given to Saint Pope John Paul. I will pray it too.

God bless.

Thank you, everyone, for all these prayers. Even just knowing that you are praying for me gives me more confidence doing my assignment. God bless.

**O Holy Trinity,
we thank you for having given to the Church
Pope John Paul II,
and for having made him shine with your fatherly tenderness,
the glory of the Cross of Christ and the splendor of the Spirit of love

He, trusting completely in your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary, has shown himself
in the likeness of Jesus the Good Shepherd
and has pointed out to us holiness
as the path to reach eternal communion with You.

Grant us, through his intercession,
according to your will, the grace that we implore,
in the hope that he will soon be numbered among your saints.
Amen.**

:signofcross:Gracious and merciful God, please come to their assistance. In Jesus name, amen. :signofcross:

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;

PRAYER FOR PREPARATION TO STUDY

Lord, I know you are with me and love me.
Give me peace of mind as I prepare for this time of study.
Help me to focus on my books and notes,
keep me from all distractions so that I will make the best use
of this time that is available to me.

Give me insight that I might understand what I am studying ,
and help me to remember it when the time comes.
Above all, I thank you for the ability to be able to study
and for the many gifts and talents you have given me.
Help me always to use them in such a way
that they honour you and do justice to myself. Amen.

I pray that you will be ABLE to function and
DO this assignment, try to do it in manageable
portions and not look at ALL the work involved.
Peace.

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your Name be held holy,
Your Kingdom come,
Your Will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily
bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we have forgiven those
who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is w/ you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your
