I have heard that Holy Spirit in Webster is good and I know from experience that St Thomas the Apostle in Irondequoit is very good. It still has the altar railing.I think us Rochestarians who want to be faithful to the teachings of the Church need to find a good one with a few good priests. I am new to the area but a couple that come to mind are:
St. Anne’s on Mt. Hope
St. Mark’s in Greece
St. Thomas More in Brighton
If anyone can add to where we should go that’d be great.
I just got married and an trying to decide which church to join. I grew up at SS. Peter and Paul (a Byzantine Church) in Auburn but my wife is Roman Catholic as well as my father so we have decided to join the Roman Catholic church. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Also I would encourage everyone in Rochester to give St Nicholas Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Gates a try.
