Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

I will pray too.

Has this man been to a pain specialist, or has he heard of a procedure in which the implant a device that he can use to block pain?

Here is a wild suggestion: Have him contact “The Doctors” for help. Chronic pain is literally epidemic in this country and we do a lousy job treating people for it. Maybe he could help shed light on it through this show and get help as well.

Why not try everything possible?

You have excellent suggestions. I go to a pain management specialist for my excruciating back pain. I had to take a very expensive genetic test (out of pocket) that proved that normal pain medications don’t work for me. I have had a number of injections in the back. I’m just getting ready for another (if we can get the insurance to approve the procedure). The latest planned is a radio-frequency ablation in my my facet joint. That blasts the nerve for some time and gives big relief for many people.

Between medication and other procedures, there is a lot of hope.

It is hard to live with chronic pain, but it can be done. The more he knows, the more hope he can have.

St. Raphael, pray for us. *

He, and you, have my prayers.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
“I plead with you! Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
“If He asks much of you, it is because He knows you can give much.”

This may sound insensitive, but I do it out of Love.
I pray that this gentleman will HUMBLE himself before
God’s Laws and admit that God is righteous, and OFFER
up his disability and physical and mental pains WITH
Christ, who suffered even by the GREATEST of injustices
and EVEN DIED, and give glory to God and leave the results
in His capable hands!

O blood and water that gushed forth from the heart of Jesus,
I trust in you! Amen.
