Hi,
I applied to a college last year and was rejected, without being given an explanation as to why. I had a GPA of 3.91 at the community college I had just graduated from, and was offered an almost full scholarship. I feel like I will be rejected from any other colleges I apply to. I want to know what God wants me to do for an education. Since being rejected from the college, I have found a part time job, which I have worked at since July. I am considering applying to online colleges, but I really don’t know what God wants me to do for an education and vocation. Please pray that I discern what kind of education God wants me to pursue and what vocation to enter into. I really don’t know what I should be doing with my life.
Thank you for all prayers. God bless you all. Amen.

Praying. Try not to feel bad. Sometimes a college will turn down a certain candidate who is well qualified but right now they want/need more minorities or athletes, etc. Maybe they were already filled up. Keep trying different places.

praying for the Holy Spirit to guide you regarding your continuing education. don’t give up.

Prayer of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton:

O Father, the first rule of our dear Savior’s life
was to do Your Will.
Let His Will of the present moment
be the first rule of our daily life and work,
with no other desire
but for its most full and complete accomplishment.
Help us to follow it faithfully,
so that doing what You wish
we will be pleasing to You.

Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdon in your discernment.

I go to the top Regional College in my region of the United States and my GPA was not that high it is a bit higher now. In fact I think every college I’ve applied to except the ones that I didn’t give extra information to I have been accepted. I know it isn’t much of a consolation but hopefully you can find somewhere. I will go ahead and say a prayer for you

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying for you and your discernment. May God guide you in the right direction.

:signofcross:

Father, I know You love me and have plans for me.
But sometimes I am overwhelmed by the thought
of my future.
Show me how to walk forward one day at a time.
May I take heart while I search openly, learn all
about the choices, listen to others for advice, and
pay attention to my own feelings. By doing these
things, may I hear Your call to live a life that will
let me love as only I can, and allow me to serve
others with the special gifts You have given me.
Amen

God, help me to know that nothing can defeat me if I keep
myself humbly in contact with You. Grant me the greatness
of soul to confront my problems intelligently and courageously.
For this I thank You.
Amen

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have
faith in God; have faith also in me.
