Discerning Roommates

Hoping that someone can recommend a website (or any other resource) that may be helpful in assisting me in a search for a Catholic roommate.

Being someone who is in a discerning state it would be nice to be aware of a source that may assist me in a search for other “like-minded” people who would be compatible with such a lifestyle.

I can’t find any websites helping Catholics look for Catholic roommates. I’ve been helping my girlfriend get roommates and it is not easy. I use sites such as: roommates.com, roomster.net, easyroommates.com and craisglist.org [there are all sorts of people out there, if you are renting room, don’t try to answer those who live oversea or those who want to pay you up front more than what you ask for…many are scammers.]

We prayed for having Catholic roommates, and we ended up having 2 of them. One is very faithfully practicing Catholic faith, the other just didn’t go to mass; however, she starts to go Sunday mass and wanted to go to Nursing Home with us.

When posting for roommates and exchange emails, my girlfriend lets them know that she is Catholic and practice Catholic faith. Some get turned off by this, some like it.
