Should Catholics be in support or in opposition to the UN document “Agenda 21”, which is a plan for the change of civilization for the 21st century. Is this change good? Bad?

What do you think?

My gut says “NO” to this. I have researched it but not extensively. Bottom line for me is that the UN is behind it. I don’t trust the UN…at all!

Just my 2 cents 🙂

Yes, thats my take on it too. Agenda 21 specifically is quite hostile to family and church and nations.

That’s also how I read it. I just felt such a drain when reading the UN site paper on it. It just “felt” really ugly. It sounds “New World Order-ish”.

I think this is a good illustration of Agenda 21.Penyiar Radio Jack Blood dan Acara Radio di Acara Radio Amerika Serikat

That being said, is this forum aware of the dangers posed by Lizard people? They’ve been controlling the government through a cabal for the past few years, but seem to be in competition with the Illumnati, the Masons, the Papists. Then, there’s the Jews in Space if you ascribe to the Mel Brooks version of history. 😃

With reference to its previous concern about gender-based discrimination, the Committee regrets that the Holy See continues to place emphasis on the promotion of complementarity and equality in dignity, two concepts which differ from equality in law and practice provided for in article 2 of the Convention, and which are often used to justify discriminatory legislation and policies. The Committee also regrets that the Holy See did not provide precise information on the measures taken to promote equality between girls and boys and to remove gender stereotypes from textbooks used in Catholic schools, as requested by the Committee in 1995.
They just don’t get it, do they.

Perhaps The Committee also regrets the decision of the Creator to create human beings male and female. An obvious inequality, not in keeping with The Committee’s agenda.

Do you even realize that Agenda 21 IS a real UN document? it is…I read it all on the UN website. Of course, that said only good things about it but still…its there.

I’m aware that it is real, what I was trying to reference was the hysteria that revolves around it (not the stuff here, elsewhere) as it has been around for quite some time.

Ah, that makes more sense. Yes, there IS quite a lot of nonsensical hysteria. And there IS real concern, but all the hysteria sort of discredits those with legit concern. its weird.

I have spent many hours researching Agenda 21 and its implications. I even bought a hard copy of the document, which is available through Amazon.com.

One very informative web site is Democrats Against Agenda 21 . The fact that a liberal Democrat is dedicating her life to combatting this is some indication that it’s not just a conspiracy group alone being alarmed about it.

Also interesting - and, IMO, alarming - is how our public ed system (AND some private schools, including Catholic schools) are being used to support this agenda.

Just do an internet search using the term “common core agenda 21” and numerous articles will come up. Wise bishops have not allowed Common Core to come into their Diocesan schools.

Common Core is another piece, another brick in the wall, to solidify a globalist agenda. Christianity, and in particular, the Catholic Church, stands in the way. We MUST fight it.

If anyone wants links, email me.

Blessings,
Mimi

Too late to edit my previous post.
Just wanted to add this link to another forum from 2011 (now closed):
neo-pagaism: Ark of Hope
which provides more info on the paganistic ideas being promoted by those behind Agenda 21.

Peace and blessings,
Mimi

Indeed! I am happy because I am in the Diocese of Boise, and as you may or may not have heard, Francis just appointed Bishop Peter Christensen to our Diocese, and he is VERY anti-common core.
I totally agree!
And to everybody-thanks for all the links and info!

I was already against this, I just was curious to see what Catholics generally thought about it.
