If you guys want to see a website that is truly disgusting and misrepresents the Catholic faith (well, actually, it’s damning darn near everyone) check this out: iconbusters.com/iconbusters/

It literally nauseated me reading some of the hate filled diatribe and lies. :eek:
 
That guy’s a real one-man band! Bet he has bad ulcers, he’s so angry about so many things.

I think people like this may serve a useful purpose, by going so overboard that they can cause like-minded folks to “snap out of it” by the very rabidness of their position. People who may be vaguely sympathetic to this stuff may finally see it for what it is when presented in such a blatant manner, and may be led to rethink their own beliefs. Just MHO.
 
Awful, I can’t believe what a gross site that is, it makes me ill. :mad:
 
I find this incredibly sad. Watching some of his “mini-movies” or what ever they were -my heart was so heavy. What a horribly misguided individual. To see pictures of the sacred heart of Jesus and images of Mary and our holy priests used in this way. I felt compelled to pray for this person. How very very sad.
 
I just said a prayer for those people, or person, who put that thing together. Perhaps their zeal will lead them to the truth.
 
Yes, it is sad and disgusting but also kind of funny in a twisted way. For example (under a picture of the Pope and Cardinal Law):

Now do you think this guy realizes that you have to be DEAD to be beatified? I don’t think this is someone who has the intellect or abilty to research to make any half way plausible arguments. Just a vent in hyperspace.

I don’t know if it’s still up on his board or not, but Mr. Winburn had a strange notion at one time that he had discovered precisely what the “Sign of the Beast” was. It was the sign of the cross, i.e., crossing oneself. He shopped this silliness around a couple of RC boards, where I took him up on his challenge that no one could refute him, and left him holding his entrails in his arms.

Man, what an idiot. I lasted about 15 seconds through one of the Flash movies before closing the window. All we can do is pray for people like this.

Mom taught me that the best way to deal with bullies is to ignore them.
 
I shared it because I’ve seen anti-catholic websites before but this one just hates everyone. A little different. Things like that frustrate me and since I have a habit of using you guys as my catholic support group against people like this, I wanted to see what y’all had to say.
I agree that in some places it is almost funny. Still sick and sad though.

Hey, there’s something good to come of this, besides support for wounded hearts. I’m not Catholic (well, not in affiliation…), and I was even taken back by it.

I love the fact that bigots, the misguided by false prophets, Satan and his followers hate the Catholic Church. As long as Catholics are persecuted then I know I am in the Church Jesus founded and is with right now. He promised we would be persecuted for following Him and He was right. Praise God!

PS, that web site above and all the other bigot sites still don’t have a clue as to Blessed Mary and her role and the differences between words like honor, adore, worship, venerate and pray. They are full of ignorance or hatred or Satan or all three. Say a prayer for them but never put up a web site as un-Christ like as what they have done to us, His Church, His body. As Catholics, you must behave like Jesus asked us to and forgive them. I forgave them a long time ago. Now I just pray for them (to Blessed Mary too!)

PPS, I suppose if an angel showed up with a message from God that those protestant web sites would just ignore the angel too. I am just glad that Blessed Mary said “Yes”. If she was one of those anti-Catholic protestants she would have laughed at the angel of the Lord and told Gabriel that he was Satan and to get the lickedy splits out of her house! Luke Chapter one would have to be rewritten! We’d still be waiting for the Messiah! :whacky: Thankfully Blessed Mary listened to the messenger God sent her.:love: If God sends an angel or a saint it makes no difference, they came with a message for us from God. Blessed Mary is important to us as a role model, her message is important to us because it is from God. Too bad too many anti-Catholic protestants can’t figure out the obvious.

HAHAHAHAH, thats all i could say this is sooo ridiculous that it doesnt even deserve a website. This guy goes against Cristians in general. Disgust? yeah some. But what i truely feel is sorry.
