It was my understanding that when we have to dispose of something that has been blessed we are to burn/bury it.

I have a lot of different kinds of candles, all blessed, but some of them will not burn all the way, (usually the wick comes to close to the glass and goes out). What am I to do with the candles that don’t burn all the way, when I can’t get the wax out of the glass it’s in? Thanks.

Depending on the kind of candle you have several options. If it a small candle in a votive type holder, you can try putting it in the freezer, then pry the remaining wax out, bury the wax and re-use the holder. For a metal candle holder you can place in a low oven on a piece of aluminum foil until the wax melts (watch carefully), pour out the wax and proceed as above. For 7-day candles you can ask a parish that uses this type of candle to dispose of it for you - many times the candle glass is sent back to the manufacturer to be re-used and they can just send yours with the others. Hope this helps.
