Disturbing Dream

I had a really disturbing dream last night that my best guy friend hit my best girl friend. I don’t know why it’s freaking me out so much. But I was at a Catholic dinner with all my friends and I got really sick because I was thinking about it, since they were both in attendance. And then I felt really bad, because he was trying to take care of me, offering me tea, bread, water, w/e, but I really didn’t want anything and I’ll admit, it disturbs me to see him after a dream like that.

It’s just a dream! Why am I so freaked out?

Dear Lord Jesus, please surround sanctamaria17 and her friends with a perimeter of Your Love and Protection throughout the day today and everyday a hundred yards in all directions. In the name of Jesus: any negativity, sadness, dispair that is present, go straight to the cross of Jesus Christ for him to deal with. this may not help but at least you’ll know you are not alone on the effects of dreams. my wife will dream i am flirting with another woman,wake up and hit me for doing this in HER dream. just remember we don’t live by what we dream,dreams are nothing to have an effect on our lives.

This makes me wonder, is there some sort of underlying conflict between those two? Are you sensing that maybe he wants to be more than a guy-friend, but thinks your girl-friend would not approve? And maybe it was just a dream. Don’t make more out of it that it deserves.

It’s a good thing we are not held accountable for what we do in our dreams, because if we did, my purgatory would be ten times what it will be already!
