Did your parish observe Divine Mercy in any way? My parish has said the novena for the last 7 or 8 years with a big Mercy Mass on Sunday. This year we were very focused. From Good Friday until March 31, the novena was offered for Terri Schiavo. Incredibly, the day Terri died, the pope became irreversibly ill. So Friday and Saturday were for both.

Yesterday’s Mass was spectacular! We had 4 priests hearing confessions & concelebrating the Mass. We had Exposition & Benediction after the chaplet following Mass, and then our little reception. I had no idea I was in church for 3 hours yesterday!

I did get some pictures. Would anyone like to see our parish?

I love the Divine Mercy on EWTN-I always get choked up when I see the elder man sitting in the pew rub his eyes, as he appears to be there alone, possibly thinking of his wife or someone who has passed.

I know that many traditionalists dont like it as they say it takes away from the Rosary, and we should never stop praying the Rosary, but I think praying to Sr. Faustina is a wonderful thing in my opinion.

And yes please show us your church, I am sure it is beautiful!

Where are you at, Sue? Fr. Ben was downtown for the First High Holy mass at St. Josephat’s so we had a visiting priest. Sometimes I think we need a scorecard at STCyril’s!!!
