**I think the first Divine Mercy of the new and improved CAF should be offered in thanks for the restoration of such a wonderful resource.

For those who are unfamiliar with this devotion, I’ll do a complete chaplet and then start a second one. Feel free to add a decade or two, or do a whole Chaplet if desired.

***Heavenly Father, we offer this Divine Mercy for all the intentions of our CAF members, especially for those who are ill or dying. We particularly pray for the lives of those unborn children threatened by abortion as well as their parents and all who procure or assist with or support abortion of the unborn.

***Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation

Very nice, but it looks lethargic and dull. Let’s try the version you would try were Mary, the Mother of God to appear to you in person:

Hail, Mary! You are FULL of Grace! The LORD is with you! You are so very blessed among women (and men, for that matter), and blessed is the fruit of thy womb … Jesus! Santa Maria - Mother of God … PRAY for us sinners NOW … and at the hour of our death, A …men!

It’s a bit more difficult to transmit the emotion of a prayer through its writing (after all, prayers were designed to be spoken). Perhaps more 😃 🙂 😦 :bounce: :whistle: emoticons are needed …
