I prayed this for my wife’s uncle a few days ago as he was dying; he died today.

Jesus said: When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between my Father and the dying person, not as the Just Judge but as the Merciful Saviour.

He was in another country than me so I wasn’t in his presence when I prayed it so what does it mean for him?

Thanks.

Jesus meets us “where we are” meaning in our present circumstance; And He reads our hearts. So Your prayer was head; be in peace. AMEN!

Jesus told St. Faustina: “At the hour of their death, I will defend as My own glory every soul that will say this Chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the indulgence is the same.” (Diary, 811)
