Divine Office Glory Be's?

Hello,

When praying the “Glory Be” at the end of a Psalm or Canticle do you pray “Glory be to the Father…” or “Glory to the Father…”? Does it matter?

Because I do not usually pray in community, I pray “Gloria Patri et Filio…”

When I pray the Office, using the Liturgy of the Hours, I pray the Gloria as it is written for the LoH. You get used to it.

I prefer the Latin, as well.

But when I do pray it in English, I say “Glory be…”
