I am tired of my needs no being met. I am tired that they have caused me to be unfaithful. I am tired that I am blaming my needs not being met and not taking responsibility for being unfaithful. I am tired and angry that my spouse does not taking responsibility for her ea. I am angry that my w pretends to want to change only to find out it’s only an act… I am tired of my real needs not being met. I am tired of being a loser. I am tired of having to rely on w to live and have food on the table. I am tired of being a failure. I am tired of her indifference towards my needs.

I am tired of not getting help from un high. I am tired that I am losing my mind!!

I think it’s time to not allow her to make a fool out of me anymore. If I am going to be lonely I might as well be lonely on my own. But how do I get out? I don’t work!

Seek the counsel of your local priest. Online is not a very good place for pastoral advice on a subject like this.

Talk to a priest and counselor in real life.

I tried a Priest. A Priest has no way of understanding. He just told me to pray for strength to remain chased. Sorry, that’s just not going to happen.
We have been going for mc. I have to put it on hold for a little while even though I really want us to go. She needs it more than i do.

For the sake of discussion, let’s say the priest’s advice was a little too simplistic. It’s still not incorrect. We ought to pray. We are all of us (no matter what religion or lack thereof) are obligated to Chastity.

If you are unsatisfied with the priest, I understand. However. Online is still not really the place to get sound advice about one’s personal marriage. The only thing we can do here without causing mischief is give the Truth. 1. Valid marriages are indissoluble. 2. No one is obligated to live with an abusive spouse, but if it is a valid marriage, it means one is not free to marry someone else. 3. All of us are to observe Chastity. It is a beautiful and deep virtue, but to make it plain about the plumbing, it means sexual contact is acceptable in one place and one place alone: between a man and a woman married to each other.

You need it every bit as much as she does.

Based on your two recent posts…you’re selfish.

Sorry to be blunt, ranting probably helped you, but until you realize life is not about you, your destined for disappointment again and again

May I suggest reviewing these websites and contacting one or several of the following:

foryourmarriage.org/support/
exceptionalmarriages.com
catholictherapists.com
holyfamilycounseling.org
maritalhealing.com

If you do divorce: catholicsdivorce.com

And for other sites: frcoulter.com/marriage/sites.html

Please remember this when it comes to organized religion (esp the Catholic Church). Most Priests and Protestant ministers are not marriage counselors. They are counselors regarding God. Marriage counselors have a major role in our healing.

“Organized Religion”, esp the Catholic Church sets a standard for us to reach for. Other religions don’t. You find one that fits you.

Finally, I will say a prayer for you.

God Bless

Call the Diocese and get the number of Catholic counseling services. They usually run on a sliding scale, they will speak with you two individually, and the assess whether you should pursue counseling together.
It can be done, you don’t HAVE to feel alone. There ARE priests that specialize in relationship and marriage counseling. They are out there. Call the Diocese and get in touch with the right people.
Be assured of our prayers.
God does not desire this anger for you.

Mainbrain,
Would you say that the deal you are getting in life and in your marriage is worse than the deal Christ got?

He never sinned–can you say that about yourself?
He was rejected by His people whom He came to save–what have you offered?
He was condemned to death on the cross–have you been wrongly accused of infidelity?
He was nailed to a cross where He hung until He died–are you still alive?

Look up the Litany of the Sacred Heart and pray it slowly… pray the Sorrowful Mysteries meditatively… read about Christ’s suffering for *your *sake…

And for every bit of suffering you believe is fair, offer it up in reparation for your sins. For every bit of suffering you think is not fair, as Christ’s was unfair, offer it up for your wife, as Christ offered His suffering for His bride the Church.

Your are suffering–so have so many saints, so many martyrs! Don’t let that suffering simply crush you down and defeat you–turn the suffering around towards good! Use it in God’s service! As St Jose Escriva said: Este vir! Be a man! Fight for your sanctity, fight for your marriage! But fight with the correct weapons: the weapons of humility and prayer. Fight with the correct allies: God, Mary, the Church…

You think a priest has no way of understanding how difficult it is to live a sexless life? You think a priest has no understanding of the strength required to live chastely?

Based on all your past posts, I tend to disagree. I think you need it much more than your wife.

To be blunt - morally, if you ever want sex again, you must fix your marriage. Divorce will not solve the issue of lack of sex.
