You are not currently in a marriage and have no plans to be in a marriage— you shouldn’t have any problem joining the church (or receive communion once you are Catholic).

Yay! Seventy-five posts down someone cut to the chase. If one is not married (or living with someone as a partner outside marriage), then there is no impediment.
