Do aniimals have rights? I am trying to make sense of why animal rights activists are pro-abortion. Doesn’t human life come before animal life? What does the church teach about animal rights and being abusive to animals? Is it a sin? Also, does the church say anything about vegetarians and vegans? Most animal rights activists say eating meat is murder and that’s why they don’t but meat is a big part of how we get our protein. They say to have a balanced diet and for that we should eat meat. Didn’t God put us above the animals to have dominion over them? Any thoughts out there? Thanks!
