Yes, there usually are fees involved to process an annulment since those who work on the annulments do this as a job and oftentimes have families of their own to support. It is no different in this respect than the fees involved with obtaining a divorce. The difference though is that you can inform the marriage tribunal of your financial circumstances and the fees often can be adjusted accordingly to your ability to pay.
