I’m very confused. I know people who’s aren’t baptized don’t have to confess previous sins, but what about the ones who are baptized, but invalidly. Like Mormon baptism, or In the name of Jesus baptism. They’re invalid but do you have confess previous sins from those baptisms?

If you have never been validly baptized, your Catholic baptism would be your first and only true baptism. Thus there would be no need for confession at all… until you sin again after baptism.

I was baptized in the Mormon church when I was 8. Mormon baptism is not valid, therefore when I was baptized into the Catholic Church 2 years ago I did not have to confess previous sins.
