Do Christians have the equivalent of a 'Koan', similar to Buddhists?

Koan
a paradoxical anecdote or riddle, used in Zen Buddhism to demonstrate the inadequacy of logical reasoning and to provoke enlightenment.

An example of this is; "What does the sound of one hand clapping make?"

I guess the answer can only be known by those who have achieved enlightenment.

Is there something similar to this in Christianity, where the answer to a paradoxical riddle leads to the truth of God?

Probably the Mysteries, eh? I don’t know if they do the same thing. But I imagine they could.

I remember reading this countless times. To me, this passage has one of the most profound effects on my awareness of God. God is calling us personally, from the moment you set eyes on this verse of scripture to realize he is with us. Requesting our cooperation. Time for everything to change. Right now. This moment.

Corinthians 6:2 “At an acceptable time I heard thee, and in a day of salvation I helped thee. Behold, now is an acceptable time. Behold, now is a day of salvation”.

Not so much a riddle. Thankfully. But enlightenment indeed.
