Hi everyone. According to a friend of mine, I need to forsake a different friend of mine because he causes me to sin. Do I really need to forsake this friend?

Well, basically when I talk to him, I am convinced to adopt his views. He has a way of convincing me to do this. He doesn’t actively try to convince me but we just discuss these things and his view seems to make more sense to me than the Catholic view. I’m not sure what to do.Looking at the what you mean by causes you to sin…
Does he force you to sin or does he have such sway over you that you cannot stand up for what you know and believe?
If he forces you, then, he is not your friend.
If he has some sort of control over you, it might be best to keep a distance untill you grow strong in what you believe.
Hi, What you need to do right now is to start a really comprehensive understanding of your Catholic faith. There are now, and will always will be those that can on the surface give superficial reasons that abandoning your faith would lead you on some kind of path to truth. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Become expert in your Faith and you will be able to convince him of the TRUTH. It will be wonderful for you and him too.Well, basically when I talk to him, I am convinced to adopt his views. He has a way of convincing me to do this.
