Do I need to attend RCIA classes?

Today is Christmas Day, 2008. I want to be confirmed this upcoming Easter, but I haven’t been a part of the RCIA process at all. I am 100% sure that I want to come into full communion with the Catholic Church (I was baptized in a Baptist church), and I don’t want to have to wait a whole extra year to be Confirmed and accept Holy Communion. Do I have to attend RCIA classes, or can I just be accepted into the Church this Easter without them?
